Oscar 2026: "O Agente Secreto" conquista a segunda indicação de Melhor Filme para o Brasil no Oscar 2026. Confira a lista das indicações.

Los Angeles - No ano passado, "Ainda Estou Aqui" se tornou o primeiro filme brasileiro a ser indicado ao Oscar de Melhor Filme. Este ano, "O Agente Secreto" é o segundo. O filme também concorre aos prêmios de Melhor Direção de Elenco (categoria inédita), Melhor Filme Internacional e Melhor Ator para Wagner Moura.

É uma reviravolta surpreendente no cenário do Oscar, considerando que, até "Ainda Estou Aqui", o Brasil estava fora da categoria de Melhor Filme Internacional (anteriormente Melhor Filme Estrangeiro) há décadas, desde "Central do Brasil", de 1998, também dirigido por Walter Salles. "O Agente Secreto" também está indicado nessa categoria e é considerado favorito para conquistar a segunda vitória consecutiva para o Brasil, já que ganhou o prêmio equivalente no Critics Choice Awards e no Globo de Ouro. Caso o filme realmente leve para casa o Oscar de Melhor Filme Internacional de 2026, seria a primeira vez em quase 40 anos que um país conquista duas vitórias consecutivas. O último pais a ter esse feito foi a Dinamarca com os filmes "A Festa de Babette", de 1987, e "Pelle, o Conquistador", de 1988.

Após uma atuação aclamada pela crítica, Wagner Moura ganhou o Globo de Ouro de Melhor Ator em Filme Dramático e na 98ª edição do Oscar, ele competirá com Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael B. Jordan e Ethan Hawke.

Além de “O Agente Secreto”, o diretor de fotografia brasileiro Adolpho Veloso recebeu uma indicação na categoria de Melhor Fotografia por seu trabalho no drama Train Dreams, da Netflix.

A cerimônia de premiação será realizada no dia 15 de março e será transmitida ao vivo pelo canal ABC e na plataforma de streaming Hulu.
