La La Land lidera as nominações dos prêmios Oscars

Mais uma vez o Brasil ficou de fora das nomeações para concorrer a uma estatueta do Oscar, infelizmente. Os nominados aos prêmios Oscars 2017 foram anunciados na manhã desta terça-feira, 24, em Los Angeles. La La Land lidera com 14 nomeações, empatando com o recorde anterior estabelecido por All About Eve, em 1950, e Titanic, em 1997. Outros candidatos incluem Arrival e Moonlight, com oito nomeações cada um; Hacksaw Ridge, Lion e Manchester by the Sea, com seis cada; e Fences e Hell ou High Water, com quatro cada. Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Emmanuel Lubezki, Jason Reitman e Ken Watanabe juntaram-se ao presidente da Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, e apresentaram as 24 categorias para o 89º Oscar.

Os prêmios da Academia desse ano será apresentando por Jimmy Kimmel, no Dolby Theatre, no Hollywood & Highland Center, em Hollywood. O canal aberto ABC transmitirá o ao vivo no domingo, dia 26 de fevereiro, às 8:30 ET.
